Hello All,

Days from Thanksgiving... and 5 weeks out from the fire. This holiday will be bitter sweet for myself, and Sue (Co-Owner of The Barefoot Sage). We count ourselves fortunate this season, despite the fire, and the temporary closure of our business, and we are still very thankful. Thankful that the fire happened in the wee hours of the morning, leaving the building empty of people. Thankful to have a strong and solid following of employees, clients and friends . Many of whom have shared with us their sympathies, and offered to help in any way they could. These are the things that make life full, and worth living.

We feel very hopeful that December will finally, begin to see activity starting at the spa. With that in mind, we continue to have online Gift Certificates available for purchase. Give the gift of The Barefoot Sage to someone special this holiday season. They will have an opportunity to experience not only the fantastic foot massage, we are sure they will receive, but also to enjoy it in our remodeled and fresh new space.

We wish you all a happy and safe holiday season, and look forward to seeing you and your loved ones in early 2010!!

Hurry up............and wait.

Hi Everyone!

It's been exactly 3 weeks tomorrow since the fire, and as my title says we're: Hurrying up to wait. Wow!! This is such a slow and tedious process. Everyday we seem to move a mere inch the direction we want, and a foot backwards, all at the same time. We are hopefully getting very close to getting some final answers on important questions.....

Behind the scenes however, the pace is picking up and staying steady. We are working hard to get our inventories done and the re-model plans solidified so when the time comes we can jump right in and get the show on the road!! Purple couches here we come!!

So, keep your chins up, sit back close your eyes and envision the amazing foot massage you'll be getting in (hopefully) a few short months!
